XMR Hub exists to be the one place for Monero: buying, swapping, using, mining and reading about it.
We want to be the catalyst for the Monero revolution. Whether you've never touched crypto or you've been here for years, it should be easy to learn more, buy some, and see how simple Monero really is.
As a community we've faced delistings, FUD and setbacks. We keep building anyway, because privacy wins in the end.
Support
Keep onboarding normies.
Your donation helps more people buy, use, mine and learn about Monero. Thank you for your support.
Put your mark in front of people who actually use Monero: a sponsor pill on the home page, sponsored cards in the directory, a mark on the memes page or a band on the forum. Placements are always labelled as sponsored and never dressed up as editorial picks.
Paid in MoneroRates depend on placement and term.
Anonymous is fineYou don't have to tell us who you are.

Nine short guides, start at one.
01
What is Monero?
Get a simple introduction to Monero and why it’s important.
Monero (XMR) is digital cash that is private by default. Every transaction hides who sent it, who received it and how much moved, so every coin is identical and can’t be blacklisted. It launched in 2014, has no premine and no company behind it.
A deep dive into the history of Monero, its future, challenges and the future of currency.
From CryptoNote and Bytecoin to RingCT, Bulletproofs and the upcoming FCMP++ upgrade, Monero has shipped a decade of privacy research. Its community-funded model means no VC can steer it.
Three common routes: buy on an exchange that lists XMR and withdraw; buy BTC/LTC anywhere and swap to XMR; or buy peer-to-peer on RetoSwap. Always withdraw to your own wallet.
Learn about this vital tool for sending, receiving and storing your Monero.
A wallet holds your keys, not coins. Your 25-word seed phrase is the master backup, write it down on paper or steel and never share it. Popular wallets: Cake Wallet, Feather, Monero GUI, Stack.
Learn how to mine Monero, why it’s important and how anyone can start.
Monero uses RandomX, which is optimised for ordinary CPUs, so ASICs don’t dominate. Run XMRig with P2Pool (or Gupax for a GUI) and you’re helping decentralise the network.

Monero basics, lesson by lesson
What is Monero?. Monero is digital cash for the internet. Like handing someone a banknote, a payment reveals nothing about who you are, who you paid or how much you hold. There's no company behind it and no central ledger anyone can freeze.
Get a wallet. A wallet is the app that holds your keys and lets you send and receive XMR. When you create one it shows a 25-word seed phrase. Those words are your money: write them on paper, keep them offline, and never type them into a website.
Buy your first XMR. Three easy ways in: buy XMR on an exchange and withdraw it, buy any coin and swap it to Monero, or buy peer-to-peer. Whichever you pick, always move the Monero to your own wallet afterwards. Coins left on an exchange aren't really yours.
Send and receive. To receive, share an address that starts with 8 (a subaddress). To send, paste the recipient's address, enter the amount and confirm. Fees are usually a fraction of a cent and funds arrive in a couple of minutes. Always double-check the first and last characters of an address.
Spend privately. Monero isn't just for holding. You can pay for VPNs, hosting, gift cards, travel, food and electronics. Browse hundreds of merchants in the XMR Directory, or buy right here in the XMR Hub shop. Because payments are private, nobody builds a profile of what you buy.
Stay private. Monero hides a lot for you automatically, but habits matter. Keep your coins in a wallet you control, think before you link your real identity to an address you publish, and for maximum privacy you can run your own node so you aren't trusting someone else's server. Small steps, big difference.
For the nerds
Under the hood.
The cryptography and systems that make Monero private, fungible and impossible to switch off. Tap any card for a deeper look.
01
RingCT
Ring signatures hide the sender among decoys while confidential amounts hide the value, with math proving no coins are created from nothing.
Every Monero input is signed as one of a ring of possible spenders (currently 16 decoys), so an observer can't tell which one truly spent. Ring Confidential Transactions, live since 2017, add Pedersen commitments that hide the amounts too, with a range proof guaranteeing each amount is non-negative so the supply can never be secretly inflated.
02
Bulletproofs and Bulletproofs+
Short, fast zero-knowledge range proofs that shrank Monero transactions by around 80% and slashed fees.
Before Bulletproofs, the range proofs that prevent amount inflation were huge. Bulletproofs (2018) replaced them with a logarithmic-size proof, cutting transaction size and fees dramatically. Bulletproofs+ arrived in the v15 hard fork (2022), trimming proof size and verification time even further.
03
RandomX
The CPU-friendly proof-of-work that keeps mining in the hands of ordinary people, not specialised ASIC farms.
RandomX runs random programs in a virtual machine tuned for general-purpose CPUs and their large caches, a workload where custom ASIC and GPU rigs gain little advantage. The result: anyone with a laptop can mine meaningfully, keeping hash power spread across many independent hands.
04
FCMP++
Full-Chain Membership Proofs, Monero’s next major upgrade, replacing decoy rings with a proof against every output ever made.
Today's ring signatures hide you among 16 decoys. Full-Chain Membership Proofs++ instead prove your input belongs to the entire set of outputs on the chain, so the effective anonymity set becomes the whole blockchain. Built on new curve trees, it hugely strengthens sender privacy while keeping proofs practical to verify.
05
View and spend keys
Each wallet has two key pairs: the spend key moves funds, while the view key only sees incoming ones.
Your private spend key authorises spending. Your private view key lets you, or an auditor you choose, detect incoming payments without being able to spend them. This split powers things like a shop watching for payments or sharing a view key for transparency, all while your coins stay safe.
06
Subaddresses
Unlimited addresses from one wallet. Give a fresh one to every payer and nobody can link them, backed up by a single seed.
A subaddress (it starts with 8) is derived from your main account, so funds sent to any of them land in the same wallet and only your 25-word seed is needed to restore everything. Handing out a new subaddress per sender stops outsiders from linking your separate payments together.
07
Running a node
Your own copy of the blockchain. Run one and you verify your own transactions instead of trusting someone else’s server.
monerod downloads and validates the full chain. Pointing your wallet at your own node means you broadcast and confirm transactions without leaking which outputs are yours to a third-party server. It also strengthens the network by relaying blocks and transactions for everyone else.
08
P2Pool
A decentralised mining pool with no operator and no fees, paying out directly to your wallet.
Traditional pools are run by a company that controls payouts and sees its miners' data. P2Pool is a peer-to-peer sidechain: miners share work and get paid directly on-chain, with no central operator, no account and near-zero fees. Together with RandomX it keeps Monero mining genuinely trustless.

Straight from the researchers and maintainers who build Monero. No middlemen, no gurus.
Every system that challenged central banking has been dismantled, co-opted or crushed. Monero is different. There's no company to subpoena, no CEO to arrest and no ledger to censor. It defends against all of that by design.

Legal
Terms of Service.
The rules of XMR Hub, in plain language first and legal language where it matters. Last updated 18 October 2026.
1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and XMR Hub ("XMR Hub", "the platform", "we", "us"). By creating an account, depositing funds, swapping, playing, posting or otherwise using xmrhub.io and its services (the "Services"), you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and you are responsible for making sure that using the Services is lawful where you are. The Services are offered "as available" and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of them at any time.
2. Accounts
One person, one account. Operating more than one account, or operating an account on behalf of a banned person, is prohibited. Accounts found to be linked may be treated as a single account for every purpose in these Terms, including forfeiture.
You are responsible for your account. Keep your password, two-factor codes and passkeys private. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you. There is no email-based password reset.
Verification. We may require account verification before some features are available, including a small verification deposit or a completed swap for accounts created from regions with elevated fraud, and we may withhold features or withdrawals until verification is complete.
Moderation. Our team and appointed moderators may remove content, lock topics and flag accounts. Moderators cannot access your funds; account-level decisions are made by the platform owner.
3. Custody of funds and withdrawals
How your XMR is held. Balances on XMR Hub are an internal record of XMR we hold for you. Deposited funds are moved to and kept in offline cold storage under the platform's control. They are not kept in a hot wallet connected to the website.
Withdrawals are processed manually. Because funds sit in cold storage, every withdrawal is reviewed and signed by a person. Please allow 24 to 48 hours for a withdrawal to be sent. Withdrawals may take longer during weekends, holidays, network congestion, unusual volume, or while a security or compliance review is in progress.
Two-factor authentication is required to withdraw. Because a withdrawal cannot be reversed, your account must have an authenticator app enabled before a withdrawal request is accepted.
Review before sending. We check the origin of funds before releasing a withdrawal. We may ask you questions, require verification, or delay or decline a withdrawal where we reasonably suspect fraud, cheating, a compromised account, abuse of promotions, or a breach of these Terms.
Confirmations. Deposits show at zero confirmations, become usable on the platform at one confirmation and withdrawable off-site at ten. Amounts below the minimum deposit may not be credited.
Fees. A flat withdrawal fee covers the network fee and is shown before you confirm. Fees may change.
Addresses are your responsibility. Monero transactions are irreversible. Funds sent to an address you entered incorrectly cannot be recovered.
No interest, no deposit insurance. Balances do not earn interest and are not insured by any government scheme.
4. Promotional credits ("free" XMR)
From time to time we may credit your balance with XMR you did not deposit: welcome bonuses, event prizes, giveaways, rakeback and similar ("Promotional Credits"). Promotional Credits are a gift made on the following conditions. Referral earnings are not Promotional Credits: your share of the house's take from members you refer is earned revenue, is credited to your balance as ordinary funds and is withdrawable like a deposit, subject only to sections 3 and 7.
They are locked until unlocked. Promotional Credits, and winnings derived from them, are not withdrawable until you have met the unlock requirement stated for that promotion. The requirement is expressed as a percentage or multiple of the credit that must be put through eligible activity, for example stakes in platform games, and such other activities as we designate for that promotion. The exact percentage, the eligible activities and any time limit are stated in the promotion itself and form part of these Terms.
Deposited funds are never locked by a promotion. Only the promotional portion and its winnings are subject to unlock requirements.
Abuse voids the credit. Claiming a promotion more than once, using multiple accounts, colluding to pass credits between accounts, exploiting a pricing or payout error, or any other attempt to extract Promotional Credits without meeting the unlock requirement in good faith results in forfeiture of the credit and any winnings derived from it, and may result in further action under section 8.
We may change or end promotions at any time. Credits already unlocked are not affected.
5. XP, levels, rewards and directory reviews
XP, levels, ranks, badges and unlockables ("Rewards") are granted for genuine participation. They have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and may be adjusted, reset or removed at our discretion.
Directory reviews. Reviews exist to help other people choose a service. Posting reviews to farm XP is abuse. If you are found to be abusing directory reviews to gain XP, including posting low-quality, duplicate, templated, copied, fabricated, irrelevant or bulk reviews, or reviewing services you have not used, all of your reviews will be removed and all XP earned from reviews will be clawed back, without notice. Repeat or egregious abuse may lead to a ban.
Clawback. XP granted for content that is later removed by a moderator, for reversed actions, or for activity found to be inauthentic, is removed. Levels, ranks and unlocks that depended on it may be lost.
Spam and low-effort content in the forum, memes, messages or anywhere else earns no Rewards and may be removed.
6. Games and the zero-cheat policy
Eligibility. United States players are not allowed.
The games are not offered to, and may not be played by, any person who is located in, resident of, or accessing the Services from the United States of America, its territories or possessions, or any other place where playing them would be unlawful. Before the Games section is shown for the first time, you are asked to confirm, by ticking a box in the notice presented, that you are not in the United States and that you accept these Terms. Ticking that box is a representation and warranty you make to us, which we rely on, and it is recorded on your account (or on your device while you are signed out) as your confirmation. It is not a licence to play from a place where playing is unlawful.
Giving a false confirmation, or using a VPN, proxy or any other means to disguise your location, is a material breach of these Terms. In that event any stakes, winnings and related balance may be forfeited to the platform under the consequences set out below, your account may be closed, and we may refuse any withdrawal connected to the breach. We may ask you for evidence of your location at any time and may restrict or block access from any region at our sole discretion. You are solely responsible for determining whether playing is lawful where you are, and you agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from your breach of this section.
Platform games are provably fair contests between members. We operate a zero-cheat policy: cheating is never tolerated, in any form, for any stake.
Cheating includes, without limitation: colluding with another player, chip-dumping or deliberately losing to transfer value, using more than one account in the same game or lobby, using bots, scripts, engines or outside assistance in skill games (including chess engines), exploiting a bug, latency, timing or any other defect in the Services, manipulating or interfering with game state, and any other means of gaining an advantage that we have not expressly approved.
Consequences, in order.
Forfeiture. If you are found cheating, the XMR involved, including stakes, winnings and any balance we reasonably determine to be connected to the cheating, is forfeited to the platform.
One warning. A first finding comes with one formal warning. You may appeal that finding once through the appeals process in section 8. Your appeal goes directly to the platform owner.
Funds during an appeal. From the moment of the finding and for as long as an appeal is pending, the forfeited XMR remains the property of the platform and cannot be withdrawn. If the appeal is granted, the funds are returned to your balance. If it is denied, or you do not appeal, the forfeiture is final.
Second finding. A second finding of cheating, at any time, results in consequences at the platform's sole discretion, which may include permanent closure of your account, forfeiture of the entire balance, and referral to relevant authorities where unlawful conduct is involved.
We may suspend game access, freeze a balance, void results and reverse settlements while an investigation is open. Findings are made on the balance of evidence available to us, including game logs, timing, device and network signals and account relationships.
7. Fraud, gaming the system and prohibited conduct
You agree not to defraud, exploit or manipulate the platform, its members or its systems. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any user who attempts, whether successfully or not, to fraudulently game the system through any means not expressly approved by the platform, including but not limited to spamming low-quality reviews, posts or messages; farming XP, referrals or promotions; operating multiple or shared accounts; impersonating others; automating interactions; exploiting software defects; interfering with the operation or security of the Services; laundering or structuring funds; or otherwise obtaining Rewards, credits, funds or advantages to which they are not legitimately entitled, shall be subject to disciplinary action at the platform's sole discretion, up to and including removal of content, clawback of Rewards, forfeiture of connected funds, suspension and permanent termination of the account.
You also agree not to use the Services for anything unlawful, to harass or threaten others, to post illegal content, to attempt to access other accounts or non-public systems, or to resell or commercially exploit the Services without our written consent.
8. Enforcement, discretion and appeals
Discretion. We decide, acting reasonably, whether conduct breaches these Terms and what action to take. We are not required to warn before acting where the conduct is serious or ongoing.
Appeals. If you believe a cheating finding, a review/XP clawback or a frozen balance is mistaken, you may submit one appeal per matter within 14 days, from this page while signed in. Appeals are reviewed personally by the platform owner, and you will be told the outcome in your account and, if linked, on Telegram. Decisions on appeal are final.
Funds pending appeal. Any forfeited or frozen funds stay with the platform and cannot be withdrawn while an appeal is pending or if it is denied.
Evidence. We may use any information available to us, and we are not obliged to disclose detection methods.
9. Swaps, shop and third-party services
Swaps are executed by an independent swap provider. Rates, limits, timing and refunds for a swap are governed by that provider's terms; we display quotes and status but do not control settlement. Always double-check addresses and amounts.
The directory lists third-party services for information only. A listing, badge, rating or review is not an endorsement or a guarantee. Deal with third parties at your own risk.
The shop sells goods priced in XMR; order, shipping and refund terms are shown at checkout.
The community marketplace is members selling to members. With escrow, XMR Hub holds the buyer's payment until delivery is confirmed (or 14 days after the item ships, unless the buyer opens a dispute) and keeps a 1% escrow fee from the seller's payout when it is released. Refunds are returned in full, and direct-pay sales carry no fee. The fee may change; an order keeps the rate in force when it was placed.
10. Risk and disclaimers
Monero is volatile and its value may fall to zero. Nothing on XMR Hub is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement and uninterrupted or error-free operation. You use the Services at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability and indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, XMR Hub and its operators, moderators and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or funds, arising out of or relating to the Services, including losses caused by third parties, network failures, software defects, market movements or your own errors. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount of fees you paid to us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.
12. Changes, severability and contact
We may update these Terms at any time by publishing a new version on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept it. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with any promotion-specific terms, are the entire agreement between you and XMR Hub about the Services. Questions go to our community on Telegram at t.me/XMRHub_io.
Legal
Privacy Policy.
XMR Hub is built to know as little about you as possible. Here is what we keep, why, and when it goes. Last updated 28 October 2026.
1. The short version
No email, phone number or real name. A username and a password are all you need.
No tracking. No analytics, no ad trackers and no third-party cookies.
No IP address on your account.
Private chats are end-to-end encrypted. Only the two people in the chat can read them.
Old details are cleared after 30 days. Addresses from finished swaps, withdrawals and orders go after 30 days.
You are in control. In Settings you can delete your swap history, forget your old addresses, or delete your whole account yourself.
We don't sell member data, and we don't share it with law enforcement. There is very little to share (section 14).
2. Your account
What we keep: your username, your password in a scrambled form that can't be turned back into the password, the day you joined and, if someone invited you, who it was. If you open the Games tab, we note the day you accepted its terms.
What we never ask for: email, phone number, real name or ID documents. Recovery codes take the place of an email reset, and we can't read them back either.
Your country isn't saved on your account. New accounts from some regions are asked to verify with a small deposit or a swap.
Order emails. Settings has an optional email for marketplace order updates. Sending is switched off for now. When it is on, an address you add is confirmed with a code, stored encrypted and used only for your own orders.
3. Signing in
One cookie keeps you signed in, for up to 30 days, until you sign out.
No IP address is stored with your sign-in. We keep a scrambled code of your connection that can't be turned back into an address or a place. It helps keep the site fair, and it goes when the sign-in ends.
Two-factor and passkeys. An authenticator app's secret is stored encrypted. For a passkey we keep only what is needed to recognise it; the face, touch or PIN that unlocks it never leaves your device.
4. Your wallet
Deposits and withdrawals. We keep each one's amount and transaction ID, your deposit address and the address you withdraw to. Thirty days after a withdrawal finishes, its address is shortened to the first and last few characters.
Your balance. Every change to a balance is recorded and kept for as long as the site runs, so every coin is accounted for and any mistake can be fixed.
Monero and us. Monero keeps your payments private on the blockchain. We know which deposit address is yours, what arrives at it, and where you asked us to send a withdrawal.
5. Swaps
Our swap partner carries out each swap and sends it to an exchange for the best rate. Your IP address and browser are never passed on. The partner and its exchange see the amounts and addresses they need, under their own privacy policies.
What we keep: the coins, amounts, fees and status, so a late swap can be traced. Thirty days after a swap finishes, its addresses are removed or shortened.
Sooner, if you like: Settings › Privacy › Delete my swap history does it at once and unlinks the swaps from your account. The XP you earned stays.
Swap links show a shortened address to anyone else who opens them, and stop working after 7 days. You can also swap without an account.
6. Chat and messages
Site chat is public and only the newest messages are kept. You can remove your own, and moderators can hide any.
Private chat is end-to-end encrypted, like Signal or SimpleX. Messages are locked on your device and can only be opened by the two people in the chat. We can't read them. A device you set up later can't open older private messages, and clearing your browser's data removes them from that browser.
Normal messages are stored encrypted, and nobody on our team has a screen to read them. For anything sensitive, use Private chat.
Alerts for a new message say who wrote to you, never what they wrote.
7. Marketplace and shop
Listings are public: the seller's username, photos, price and where the item ships from.
Shipping addresses are encrypted and only the seller of that order can open it (for official shop orders, the team that ships it). The address is cleared 30 days after the order ends; the order itself stays for the books.
Your browser remembers the shop address you typed, on your device only.
8. Your profile
Public by default: your username, picture, banner, bio, level, XP, badges, join date, follower counts, posts, reviews, memes, listings and your place on leaderboards.
Settings › Privacy lets you make your profile private (only followers you approve see it), appear as "Anonymous" on leaderboards, hide from the people finder, and hide your game stats or follower lists.
No "online now" or "last seen". Tips can be anonymous, and a note you send a creator is encrypted.
9. Games
Game records (stakes, moves, cards, results and how each turn was played, including its timing) are kept so every result and payout can be checked.
Fair play. Games are checked so nobody can cheat or play several seats at once, and a person reviews anything before action is taken.
Region check. The Games tab checks where a visit comes from to keep betting out of restricted places. It is not saved.
10. Linked accounts
Accounts you link in Settings (for alerts, to show them on your profile, or to earn XP for joining our community) are kept only as their ID or handle (and a chess account's public rating) plus your alert choices. To award community XP, we ask that service only whether you joined.
Alerts go through the app you linked, so it sees their text. Turn on private alerts in Settings › Privacy and they say only what happened, like "Deposit received", with no amounts, names or messages.
You can unlink any account at any time.
11. Photos and videos
Hidden photo data is removed. Every picture and video you upload loses its hidden camera and location details before we keep it.
Creator videos are only shown to people allowed to see them, through links that expire within minutes.
12. Cookies and your browser
Cookies. One cookie keeps you signed in, and a short-lived one protects linking an account while it happens. Nothing else of ours tracks you.
Saved on your device only: display settings, carts, your swap list, recent payments, chat read markers, an invite code and a copy of your profile for faster loading. It isn't sent to us on its own.
Sponsored spots count how often they are shown and clicked each day, never who saw them.
Settings › Privacy › Clear what this browser saved wipes the personal parts, and clearing this site's data in your browser wipes everything.
13. Partners
Network protection. A network provider carries traffic to XMR Hub and protects it from attacks, so it sees your IP address and which pages you open. It also provides the human check on the sign-up form, stores creator videos, and may set a security cookie of its own.
Swaps go through our swap partner and its exchanges (section 5).
Charts and videos. The price chart page shows a chart from a charting provider when you open it, and a video loads from its host only when you press play.
Fonts, images and prices are served by XMR Hub itself, and links to other websites lead to sites with their own privacy rules.
14. Sharing
We don't sell, rent or trade member data, and we don't share it with law enforcement. There is very little to share: no email, phone number, name or ID, no IP address on your account, old addresses cleared after 30 days, and private chats we cannot read.
The partners in section 13 receive only what their part needs, when you use it.
15. Who can see what
Our team sees what it needs to run payments, orders and support.
Moderators can tidy up public posts and chat. They have no access to wallets or addresses.
Nobody on the team has a screen for reading messages or a marketplace buyer's address, and nobody but the two people in it can read a Private chat.
16. How long we keep it
Sign-ins: until you sign out, at most 30 days.
Shipping addresses: 30 days after the order ends.
Withdrawal and swap addresses: shortened or removed 30 days after they finish, or straight away from Settings.
Balances, payment records and game records: for as long as the site runs, so the books always add up.
Profile, posts and uploads: until you or the team remove them, or your account is deleted.
Ghost links (Tools): gone the first time they are opened, or when they expire.
17. Your choices
Settings › Privacy: private profile, anonymous on leaderboards, hidden from the people finder, hidden game stats and follower lists, and private alerts.
Your data, any time: Delete my swap history, Forget my old addresses and Clear what this browser saved. Your XP, badges and balance stay.
Delete your account at the bottom of Settings, confirmed with your username, password and two-factor code. Your balance must be empty and nothing can be in progress. You are signed out and hidden straight away, and for 30 days we can restore the account if you ask us. After that your name, picture, bio, links and sign-in methods are erased; your posts stay under a name like deleted_123, and payment and game records stay in our books without your name.
Also: unlink accounts and remove passkeys in Settings, change your password to sign out every other device, and swap without an account.
18. Changes and contact
When the site changes what it keeps, we update this page and its date. XMR Hub is for adults only (see the Terms of Service). Questions about your data are welcome in our community at t.me/XMRHub_io.
